Either Mitt met Bilderbergers
or lookalike fooled hotel staff

Mitt Romney's campaign, after first trying to finesse, denied that he had attended the secretive Bilderberg conference despite having been seen by four hotel workers, the Guardian reports.

The Guardian's Charlie Skelton noted that the conference's "final" list of participants lacks credibility because, for example, Microsoft founder Bill Gates was photographed outside the hotel but his name was not mentioned as in attendance.

Romney's office initially refused to confirm or deny his attendance on grounds that the Bilderberg gathering is "not public," said Skelton, but later said the person who looked like Romney was not Romney.

Obama's body count method echoes Viet war
President Obama's method of counting casualties in drone strikes does "little to box him in," the New York Times has reported.

Citing "several administration officials," the Times reported that this method "in effect counts all military-age males in a strike zone as combatants ... unless there is explicit intelligence posthumously proving them innocent." The Times reported that this standard allowed counterterrorism adviser John Brennan to claim in June 2011 that for nearly a year "there hasn't been a single collateral death because of the exceptional proficiency, precision of the capabilities that we've been able to develop."

This casualty counting method is highly reminiscent of the U.S. military's body counts of "enemy" killed during the Vietnam war, when civilians killed by U.S. fire were almost always counted as enemy killed in action.
